He assigns Dr. Cross to monitor the physical conditions of the contestants.
"Their mental state is already suspect to play this game." is what he 
confides to her with a grin.
Montez and Kriger are to provide color commentary while Spruance 
monitors the Jump.

"The Captain has requested a best of two out of three match."
"Is this acceptable to the contestants?"
