The door slides open and the officer behind the desk rises to great you.
His uniform is recruiting poster perfect.  He is actually a 
SubLieutenant (or as traditionalists like to call it, Lieutenant, 
J.G., amazing how an organization as tradition based as the IN keeps 
switching the rank title every few centuries), with pilot rating, and 
a reasonable amount of fruit salad, not excessive, and claims he has 
seen combat.
The man in the uniform has that burly look that full blood Vilani do. 
Along with the gold eyes set in dark skin, the fine facial features 
and chestnut brown hair mark him to be as probably as much a 
pureblood as you are, in his own way of course...
His Ganglic is textbook, with just a hint of Sylean Court in his 
accent, not trace of Vilani...

have an officer of your reputation on Ridge."
