Thats true, so Dwan beat me to the Rat, so my communications would be 
something like (after verifying the codes)

Has the INS contacted you?  Oh they have?  Belay that order.   We wait 
on the Captain before we go in.   If they call back, stall.

Then I'll continue my research while waiting on the Captain.
