seems odd to me."

  Montez flicks his ears back slightly and bares the slightest bit of white teeth.  "Sometimes such out-of-routine inspections are a sign of a crack down on crime or piracy.  The IN may be calling you in to report on suspcious behavior.  We had best keep our jets hot and our teeth sharp while in port."
   
  He growls deeply in his throat;  "Our shipmate may have learned something from the ship that just lifted.  Perhaps there is an alert in the underworld.  I have 'heard' of such before."
   
  Montez will check the routine housekeeping tasks to settle the ship into the berth safely while Kat is shepherding their passengers to the air lock.
