Trying to not look too eager or desperate Boris speaks up.

"You want know of Karl Steiner and Star Hopper, da? I tell if want. Only
require good beer."

Boris knocks back the drink he was nursing while contemplating a bleak
future.

"Am Boris. Pleasing to meet you"

This mid-tall human with short black hair, blue eyes, and muscular build
holds out his callused hand to the nearest crew member to shake. He has a
couple of well used canvas and leather bags at his feet, nice slacks, and a
slightly wrinkled sport coat. The odservant among you note a pistol in a
kidney holster, a multi tool on his belt, and a Marine style cutlass grip
sticking out of one bag. A laptop sits on the table in front of him with
public ship arrival and departures on the screen. He also has some dirt or
something under his fingernails.

Kat perks up as Boris starts to talk.  ~Hmmm~, she thinks to herself, ~How
does he know Karl?  Perhaps I'll find out something more about him
afterall.~   She considers where to start and then finally decides.  "Hello
Boris.  I'm Kat."  Kat gives Boris one of her friendliest smiles and brings
her waist long red hair around more to the front and starts to braid.  Her
green eyes flash both inquisitiveness and amusement.  "You say you know
Karl?  Cool.  I always love stories."  Pulling herself up, as as much as her
5'5" frame will allow her to, she announces that she'll get the next round
of drinks since she missed getting this first one.
