Kat listens in and notices that the Captain is unhappy and is actually glad
that she's not on the other end of hte conversation.  Even though she
notices the creeping red line above the collar, she doesn't mention it.
Instead she just steps a little closer, braving the negative energy field
that is surrounding him right now, and calmly asks in a low voice.
"Everything ok? "
