The Cutlass is what he mustered out with. Some of the clothing dates back
that far as well. He has no special attachment to "things" like that though
so there is a variety of makers from different systems. Among his gear may
even be a locally purchased item ( and therefore reciept for it ). Much of
the gear back at the ship is old and Confed in origin although not
military. An astute person could follow his journies by his gear. Not
beinig an actual spy means he has had no reason to hide where he has been.
He has no journal or diary though.
