Montez cocks his head at the Rat and wrinkles his muzzle in a smile; "Well, learning to be a Vargr might be tough.  The lack of a tail, fur, fine ears and of course real teeth are a huge handicap.  Perhaps Doctor Gwerf could work some kind of genetic magic but that's a lot of work to do even for him."  He pats the human engineer on the back vigrously;  "In the meantime the best bet is to show a bit more charisma within the pack."  He wags his tail;  "I can help you with that."

"Now about the other problem, well the captain wants us all together.  Perhaps he fears an attack."

blinks incredulously at the Rat, and shudders slightly at the thought of what sort of woman our strange crewman would find to go on a date with him... He then says to Montez (in vargr)...

We sould take him to his (brrr...) date, but also should probably be nearby to cut him loose when whoever this woman is ties him to a chair and takes all his money and clothing..."

I think he is cautious enough not to end up tied to a bed in some startown dive or drugged and left for dead in an alley but it'd be a good idea to check thing out around him.  Maybe if the captain and the rest of the crew haven't got in too much trouble we can make a night of it.  Kriger could try some of that green liquor on the captain!"  Montez shakes his head at the memory...  "I'm sure Doctor Cross would enjoy a distraction from her mate abandoning her."
