I doubt Sir Jace would take Anousheh do a tube hotel.  In fact, Kriger 
would probably start at the highest rated hotel and work backwards, 
unless this place is "on the way".

Kriger actually is hoping to find a bellman rather than a desk clerk.   
Clerks are skilled at protecting information about their guests where 
bellman are more subject to fat tips.   If Kriger can't find a bellman 
to ask if he's seen then, then he will go try and get information from 
the desk clerk, offering a decent information gathering fee if 
necessary.   If lucky, I'll be able to catch a room number as I ask the 
clerk to "connect me to their room".
