Turning back to the two humans he wags he flips his ears forward in a sligthly dominant posture; "Mr. Spruance, if you would please make sure the ship's systems are secured and ready for a two week or more absence. We're headed out with Sir Jace in the morning on a boating expedition to find sunken treasure or such. Also make sure that all your records and computer files are either encrypted, hidden or ok for public viewing as we expect to have INI visitors while we are gone!" He looks around the engineroom; "I assume we are fully fueled and ready to depart otherwise? The captain has made arrangements for repairs, has he discussed them with you?" He moves toward the hatch and then turns and wags his tail as he relaxes into a playful attitude; "You'll want to talk to Doctor Cross before we go for some sun screen. Either that or bring a good hat. We'll be out on a boat in the ocean for a while." Matt -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... IC: Kat looks over all the blood samples for everybody and sighs at the results. Even though she wouldn't admit it to anybody, she was hoping that the Captains might also have shown something different in. She mentally shook her head though, remembering the adage about careful what you ask for. She filed the results on her personal computer and while she waited for Gwerf to return, started to lay out what she would take on the fishing expedition. One nice thing about swimsuits is that they don't take up much room and her lotions can be put in the medbag. - Bonni -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... "Hmmm...From my conversation with Marshall Khan, and is strictly off the record and on the QT, there is no 'official' Imperial Navy Intelligence presence on this station. Certainly not one in a chain of command that includes Sub-Lieutenant Kerenikh at least. It may be our best interest to mention anything the INI during this visit." Jace leans back in his chair with a grin, "Although it appears that the Marshall got a look at your INI file during her brief time here. It appears to have to have some rather colorful phrases describing you. 'Bull in a China Shop' and 'he'll set off the powderkeg even if he has to import the explosives from offworld personally.' Whoever wrote that has a taste for classic metaphors. Either way, it suits me. You see Captain, I search for secrets. Very old secrets, but secrets none the least. I find it useful to shake things up a bit. To see what scraps of truth get knocked loose. So, I certainly have no objections to having Sub-Lieutenant Kerenikh and his assistant over. I'm interested to hear their side of the story." "It's not like your normal treasure finder though. This is a sneaker model. This shows what the naked eye can't normally see. Not even the sharp senses of the Vargr. It's for medicinal purposes but I haven't gotten a chance to use this before. I had promised Gwerf that I wouldn't touch it without his permission. He's going to be using it though so I get to watch." It is obvious that is itching to play with it and she is as excited about this medical instrument as Montez would for a new grav bike. "You can help keep me distracted though so I don't break that promise. I've ALMOST given in twice already." She suddenly stopped and looked at him. "And What do you mean you are just checking to see if medbay is secure! I would NEVER leave medbay unsecure! I even do inventory every time I return to it!" Kat puts both of her hands on her hips and stares at Montez nose to snout. ________________________________ Montez steps into the med bay and gives the scanner a curious sniff as his tail wags. "Stealthy I like... sometimes one needs to sneak when boldness might fail." He starts to speak further when she rounds on him about the med bay. His tail continues wagging although not quite as widely and the tail itself is a bit lower as his ears roll back slightly. As she sticks her face in his snout he resists the urge to give her a big, playful lick. Instead he pushes his snout forward until his nose rubs hers slightly and his whiskers tickle her cheeks; "Ahhh... doctor, I'd not dare arouse the wrath of the wolf in her den. Your territory is clearly marked and you are the mistress of all that is here." He waves one hand at the med bay while he maintains an intense eye lock with her. "I meant rather security than the conduct of your profession." He takes one of her hands; "Besides, you need and distraction and you had promised to show me what you were bringing on the trip to the boat."
