The fifth one standing slightly behind them seems to trigger the effect. It's all a little bizarre. There appears to be something like sheet lightning fanning out from the four staff weapons along the ground. You see a couple of rock throwers get caught in the effect. It's pretty much what you might expect from getting struck by lightning, otherwise. Voorhis and Brubaker make it to a small house. Carroll and Dr. Molineiux are out of the back of the trailer. WOlfe and Murphy are still inside the trailer. Those of you outside can see people running about. They are throwing rocks at the truck and trailers. The tractor part of the rig is painted up like a large feathered serpent head. The trailers are painted up depicting the flying body of the feathered serpent. Four people climb out of the cab of the truck. They are each carrying one of the short staff like devices with the small round ball on top. They look familiar. And once they are all outside you'll hear a familiar sound. Oh, run at the drivers. You will get a first hand look at how these guys use the staf weapons they have. Four of them stand in a fan like pattern. Then each places the end of the staff to the ground. The fifth one standing slightly behind them seems to trigger the effect. It's all a little bizarre. There appears to be something like sheet lightning fanning out from the four staff weapons along the ground. You see a couple of rock throwers get caught in the effect. Sula will lead Murphy off the back of the trailer. Needless to say she doesn't do anything fancy. She just lands on her feet. When Murphy leaps off the back, she helps him up and they both go for cover. The four in front turn towards Wolfe at a command from the fifth. They once again place their staff weapons to the ground. Wolfe get a first hand look at the fifth men standing just behind the four. Just as the man's eyes give of a brief familiar flash of light. Wolfe's skin starts tingling. Much like when you have a bit of a sunburn. Only this is all over, and Wolfe has only experienced this, so far, when Sula was nearby. Brubaker and Voorhis make it to one of the mud and sod huts. There are others cowered down behind the wall when you two arrive. They appear to be young children. One of them seems a bit older. But they all look frightened. The screams of the rock throwers seems to affect them most. Carrol and the Doctor will arrive a few moments behind Voorhis and Brubaker. Carroll will get a chance to see the Captain rushing at the five men that got out of the cab of the truck. Murphy and Sula are still lost in the dust. -- Stargate Command _______________________________________________ SG21 mailing list SG21 at travellercentral.com http://lists.travellercentral.com/mailman/listinfo/sg21 From wolfe at travellercentral.com Tue Jul 24 20:51:03 2007 From: wolfe at travellercentral.com (Capt Wolfe) Date: Tue, 24 Jul 2007 20:51:03 -0600 Subject: [SG21] Dust Storm In-Reply-To: <46A64A97.6060901@xipcodes.com> References: <46A64A97.6060901@xipcodes.com> Message-ID: <7200E938-87A9-4FD9-AAB2-5842C5130848@travellercentral.com> On Jul 24, 2007, at 12:53 PM, Stargate Command wrote: > Wolfe Runs at the five men gathered near the front of the truck.
