That will go a long way, when coupled to volume requirements for  
specific
sub-systems. Though it's how vehicles work that always sets some of
my players teeth on edge. It really comes down to a matter of taste.

Considering that the only current Gurps vehicle design system is a  
hold-over
from 3rd edition. And it has been streamlined to build only starcraft  
for
Traveller it ain't bad.

I still have Ver.2 it goes a long way towards speeding up character  
gen. Is
V3 any better?
