Very true, by the afternoon of 9/11 it was quite clear that passengers
were no longer going to sit by and allow terrorist to use plane as
weapons against their fellow citizens, even at the cost of their own
lives. So if you mean that as airline passengers we are no more secure
than we were on 9/11 then I have to agree with you. If you mean that
terrorist are as free to use planes as weapons as they were on the
morning of 9/11 I would have to disagree with you. For you see we are
never very secure if we expect others to protect our security while we
stand by as spectators immune from harm and unwilling to risk our own
selves. I think we've learned that lesson. Terrorist might indeed blow
up a plane, I doubt they will find a plane full of passive passengers
who will stand by while the fly hundreds of miles to crash into a building.
