Yes, I read POTF a few years back.  IFB was so  much larger, I figured it
was worth it.  I only waited for it to come out in paperback.  :)

The man can definitely write good military SF.

That segues to the question of who "we" are.  I've noticed that Traveller
seems to attract a large percentage of veterans.  Perhaps this is why the
military careers were highlighted.  May also indicate less attraction to the
teen group of players.

Are there many new players, or are we dominated by long-time players?
"Should" we be trying to pull in the young ones, or will that change
Traveller the way D&D went to all the "punk" illustrations?
