[TML] What is Traveller?

Traveller is the Imperium in very real and measurable ways. There will
be ample opportunities to create new canon for new SF campaigns, and
there have been hundreds since Traveller was first published. None
have lasted, and none have had even temporary comparable success. The
only exception is Star Wars, and that has fuck all to do with RPGs.
Hell, Mongoose alone will publish 3-5 settings.
