Of course, while the available tech may well drop to 1910-1959 range, the
*knowledge* of electronics would still be around.  It wouldn't take anything
like 50-100 years to get back to where we are now.  :)

This is the problem I have with the whole scenario:  What good are a bunch
of chips without all the devices and culture that originally surrounded
them?  Given how tech reverted in Twilight 2000, the chips themselves seem
just about useless.
