[TML] The Sky at Night?

Hi,

If I had a system with a G2 V as the primary and a an F7 V as a far 
companion at 1000AU, what would my sky at night look like (standard 
atmosphere on a wet planet)? I guess that the companion would would show 
up as a very bright star, with no usable (such as moonlight) light from it.

And would it be visible in the day as a star?
