Here's a contribution to the great SpamName Corpus. This list is also  
very un-edited. I copied down every sender name from the mailbox that  
looked like it was a name, and not a company or product. (I had a hard  
time deciding if "Bvlgari Watches" was a name, but I ended up leaving  
it off the list when I ran into six other (fake) watch companies  
sending spam.) There's one name in here that's unpronounceable, but  
would make a good nonhuman name. I also preserved the capitalization  
from the original spams, in case anyone's going to do an analysis on  
the data and thinks that would be relevant.

My own comments about the data are at the bottom.

I didn't have very many occurrences of the middle initial, but I did  
have a few names where they prefixed the name with the 'Dr.' style.  
Those may have been spam for pills, so the style was thematic, or it  
may have just been another attempt to get around the filtering.

Also, as I said in a previous post, I initially thought  had detected  
some overlap. That turned out to be wrong, the sets didn't have any  
common members. However, I'm reasonably confident that the same couple  
generators were involved in churching out the names. They seem to fall  
into two or three distinct groups, which I suspect represent different  
algorithm/corpus sets doing the generating. Except for the names in my  
corpus that begin with Dr., there don't seem to be any new elements in  
my corpus that don't appear in Dave's, and I'm seeing the same 2-3  
patterns in construction.

I'm vaguely considering taking the whole set and handing it to one of  
the linguistics, computer science, or computational linguistics  
professors at my university and seeing what they can make of it.
