I can never, ever, ever manage to finish reading this kind of
book.  I always want to know, if "electricity" has stopped
working, how human brains are still functioning, and have to put
it down because I can't believe these people are actually all
still breathing.  Human life depends upon physics, chemistry and
electromagnetic forces.  If those things didn't work the way they
do, we wouldn't work.
