Yes. To both. LF is one of the few books I've read more than once: I
still get a chuckle out of the Russian cosmonaut with the
"unfortunate" name of Peter Jackov and can still picture that dead
kangaroo floating in that flooded store (I think I identified with
that scene so much because of the guy's lost eyeglasses). And I'll
read anything with the Hammers Slammers in it. Although my favorite
character wasn't Hammer himself, but Major Steubens (sp?), the
psychotic assassin/spy. I *want* his power pistol. :-)
