<shakes head>  Sorry.  I just don't see it happening.  At least not
without a lot of "voluntary retirements."  Where's the prestige in
commanding flights of drones?  We've got the same situation here as
the Navy had before Pearl Harbour took away all their battleships.
Everybody who was anybody was a battleship sailor.  Likewise,
everybody who is anybody (at least among those who approve aircraft
programs) used to be a fighter pilot.
