I don't know.  Since he just bought it, I'm assuming it's the latest
version, whatever that may be.  Which should - logically (since it's
been on the market and used sucessfully for two years) - mean that it
shouldn't have a bug that's quite this glaringly obvious.  Right?  So
I'm guessing he's just missed something in the instructions.
