That information (and what you sent just now) may still come in handy,
one day soon.  It seems this new group I've joined are really into
using electronic aids at the gaming table.  Personally, I'm only
semi-literate when it comes to software.  I can use email and chat,
but that's about it.  Still, I've got a year or so before their GM
rotation comes around to me.  Surely in that time I can manage to at
least partially join the digital age.  :-)

I was wrong, BTW.  About the version he had.  Apparently it was 1.1.
I just got an email back from him last night.  It seems that before I
ever sent the first post on this thread to the list, he had already
"jumped in with both feet and bought 2.0.  And all the problems went
away."
