Thank you.  I am relieved to find that your thinking more-or-less
matches my own.  As Timothy says, this is (I think) what I would
definitely call a "small fleet" Imperium.

That's alright.  Like I said, I'm buying it anyway.  If the numbers
aren't there, I'm just make up something that feels right.  It's not
like my players will ever see anything larger than an IN cruiser or
(cruiser-scale) strike carrier.  And if they see one of THOSE, it'll
either be because it's docked above the world they're visiting on a
"good will" mission . . . or they're in so much trouble they'd better
have their wills already made out.

P.S.  Isn't it interesting that "Ground Forces" and "Grand Fleet" both
abbreviate to the same acronym?
