IMO there have been only two decent vampire movies in the last  
several decades: "Near Dark" <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093605/>  
and "Vampires" <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120877/> The first  
because it's the first original take on the subject in a hella long  
time, and the second because it's all camp. (And at least in the  
first scenes of the movie, the vampire hunters actually act like a  
halfway competent bunch of PC's)
