HA! Ricardo *was* paying attention to that part of the plot
after all. :)

I could never get any traction from the players on that part
of things, and then the game spun off in other directions and
died. <sigh>

I'm sorry you "never did find out who the hell it was in those
holos", too. As it turns out it was less who and more why
that was important, but if you'd found the who you'd have
probably figured out the why...

Remember Earl's character? He had part of the answer from his
run in with "The Black Marble" before he even joined the crew,
but I don't think he ever told the rest of you about the
"delivery" that he made that got him picked up by the
"spooks." The hijacking of the airliner, the shoot out in the
woods, and the running battle between the ship's boat and that
starship had something to do with it. The plot to brust those
dams, and flood, the river valley had something to do with it.
Heck! Even the framing of the newswoman NPC had something to
do with it. And most of all, the murder of Akus Moby (which
brought all the PC's into the story) had a *lot* to do with it.

But, you *had* to have figured out that destabilizing the
government of Mark and Sequi by the Zeristu was part of what
was going on...yes? But did you figure out that the map that
got destroyed at that first Ancient site put a real crimp in
my plans? Or that Arvitis' finding that book with the map in
it was my attempt at a recovery...and that the game lost a lot
of interest for me when Arvitis' player disappeared. The
players that remained took the game "elsewhere" and it never
recovered for me.

Man! I wish we could have played out the whole plot. :(
