Luminosity = 4 * Pi* R^2 * Sigma * (Temp (in K))^4

There are adequate ASCII symbols for operations up thru 
exponentiation. 

Of course, there was a time when I'd have typed that as:

Luminosity = 4 * Pi* R**2 * Sigma * (Temp (in K))**4

(FORTRAN scars you for life)

Now if you want gibberish, there's always APL. I've got an old APL 
interpreterm but I never got around to learning the language.
