Ah! But is it *useful*? :-)

What scared me (and others even vaguely familiar with APL) was the 
guy who had to maintain a program that was several *thousand* lines 
of APL. 

Given that both the Sieve benchmark and a line editor are *one line* 
(and short lines, at that) programs in APL, that much code is the 
sort of thing to make you gibber.
