Characters and their generation systems made me think about the type of die
used.

Percentile has always been my favourite type of dice.
I mean, I always see people breaking down the other dice into percentages.
"Ah, but 1d6 gives you a 16% chance of..."

Just use percentile...?

I love percentile.

It's so easy to give bonuses and negatives, too.
"Hmm.  You're using an electronic listening device - that should increase
your chances of cracking that TL8 safe by 20%"
