[TML] Munchkinism

I had one like that, in the 90s.  He eventually went off to join the
Marines and came back a real person.

But before that blessed day, no matter what character he *said* he was
playing, he always played another iteration on the same walking
disaster.  About the fourth or fifth time he started to make up yet
another character to replace one that he had managed to get killed, I
handed him a 3x5 card on which I had listed the three GURPS disads:
Bloodlust, On The Edge and Overconfident.

He said: "What's this?"

Another player glanced over his shoulder, then said: "Ah!  Well, those
are the disads you always end up playing.  So my guess is that Richard
is suggesting you actually take them this time around.  That way, you
can maybe rack up some experience points before dying . . . again."

All I had to do was nod.  The munchkin was a little miffed, but he did
take those disads.  He still died, of course (I believe this was the
time he built Robocop II and then tried to take on the Aliens dropship
. . .).  But at least his corpse had some XP to take into the grave .
