Hmmm .... not sure I agree with that. I hadn't handled an SLR in about 
20 years (19 now I think about it), but had absolutely no problem in 
field stripping, cleaning and reassembling it when the opportunity arose 
a few months ago (I picked it up and stripped it which surprised the guy 
on the stand so he made me clean it!). And while I have fired a shotgun 
or two in those years I haven't fired a rifle, but I would still bet 
real money that if given a mag with 20 rounds in it I'd put them all in 
a half man sized target at 100 yards.
