THAT'S what I was trying to thing of.  My favorite part?  Turteldove's
characterization of Lee.  And how the time traveling fanatic is so
surprised when the "natives" are as manipulatable as he had thought
they would be.  As has been said before on this list, primitive
doesn't mean stupid.
