But what about a sensors platform? I remember reading - in a Popular
Mechanics back in the 90s, I think - about a drill where a blimp was
set to watch the operations of a carrier group. IIRC, the blimp sat
there at high altitude for several hours before the ships radars could
find it. In fact, I don't know as they ever DID find it.
