To be fair the prologue to "On Basilisk Station" does state...

Ironically "In Enemy Hands" was the book with the scene where
Harrington was sitting in her cabin reading (I quote...)
"Meanwhile, she had an excellent glass of wine and a novel which was
thoroughly enjoyable. This Forester guy writes a darned good book, and
I can certainly identify with his hero. Besides—she giggled—I like his
initials!"
Actually "In Enemy Hands" is probably my favorite book in the series
with the next book (Echoes of Honor ) a close second.
It just goes to show how tastes differ I suppose :o)
