Okay. So machined carbon asteroids as reusable standard hull molds.
Makes another market for these, at least in systems with shipyards.

But how? I can see doing it with the two seperate molds I was
originally discussing (one for the bow section and one for the stern
section). But your original reply said that your way leaves a
finished, closed hull that's one solid piece. If so, how do you "slid
the inner mold out?" Through what opening? I'm afraid my powers of
imagination are failing me, here.
