Not relly. Just far removed  on the ship from the disabling event. OR, it's 
berth well is well  armored in and of itself. However,  giving the hull 1 AP 
of ssuperdense makes for a rigid form to hang stuff in, but the downside is 
that 20T of shsip takes 20+T of berth- and inflatable boat could cut that in 
half,andn we can still armor it's storage well. Openit's access hatch, pull 
the ouoter hatch laanyard-BANG goes the severinig charge andaway goes the 
armor cover. Pull the sexonc lanyard- or pull tthe first one the second 
step- the reserve inflates the blloon part, aas it inflates the engineering 
module (it's mounted engine out) is pushed out. Line up and close the innner 
door to the ship from the access gangway, everyone in, close it's hatch,pull 
the launch lanyard. BANG go the explosive bolts, the springs kick it  (that 
hatch is attached) and it is shoved clear of the stricken ship. Let it coast 
along a few minutes, then you can pivot around the center of mass and 
accelerate away.
