Well, yes. That much I have seen.

And I don't doubt back in the days when they were Operant instead of
Speculative, if you went far enough back, some of the officers charged with
guarding meetings might just have been up to a little stab-stab if someone
tried to enter unwelcome. But that was several hundreds of years back.
Nowadays, its all funny handshakes, odd walks, and a lot of quietly done
good deeds. (Except for the Shriners, who aren't all that quiet...)
