You know, that's awful.

I really hate to see situations where I actually have the (shudder) feeling
that more (shudder) lawyers would help solve the situation. A few good suits
and people would be much less inclined to screw with existing contracts. Of
course, getting a well written contract up front should be de rigeur
although I suspect this is probably not the case given the shoestring nature
of some gaming operations.

I didn't buy anything from T4 other than the basic book (that pretty much
did it for me). I did it for taste reasons. But now that I know some of the
history behind the people producing it, I can't say as I'm sad. I would say
it nearly wrecked Traveller as a brand (it sucked hard and long).

I'm sorry you got scammed, MJD. That's the epitome of unprofessional and
sleazy conduct on behalf of a publisher.

I'm going to go pick up a copy of your latest Traveller book. I'd been
considering it, but I sort of feel like you're owed too.

Better luck going forward. Maybe Mongoose will make a better vehicle for
reviving and revisioning the Traveller brand (and of course, T5) than the
last fiasco.
