Doesn't matter that much. Given that we don't have evidence for spacers 
routinely coming down with cancer, even if they're operating normal 
space ships (we have no information about radiation background in jump 
space), starships must have enough shielding to reduce galactic cosmic 
rays from ~50 rem/yr down to <1 rem/yr. That level of shielding requires 
Magical Radiation Shielding (at least, at the mass level of smaller 
Traveller ships) and will make any radiation source other than cosmic 
rays meaningless.
