You're right I suppose, but I've never understood why the hatch armor
doesn't pretty well match the rest of the turret, with the hinges internal,
of course.

Hmm.  I'm guessing they're in the numbers on the hull, but being in-jokes I
dunno.  :)  And maybe that crown-looking thing on the fender (kinda looks
like flipping the finger...)?
