Actually, I *do* include most "TV science Fiction".  And, since William
mentioned them, Star Trek & Star Wars.  (Yes, the original trilogy were some
great *stories*, but they weren't good SF, more science fantasy.)

That's a major part of why I don't watch TV any more.  Even in the last few
years I did, it was just Discovery & History channels.

I used to read great books and think "This would make a good movie".  Then I
quit thinking that, because the odds are far better that the movie would
just mangle the book, so I'm grateful I have the book as written.
