Yep.  I actually used that in-game a while back.  This was during the
brief period before I was washed out of the River Gods.  We were
detectives in Chicago and trying to figure out if how we could get
someone to let us see some financial records.  I had my character say
casually: "Eh. We'll just tell 'em it falls under the Patriot Act.
They'll believe us.  Nobody knows what that thing let's you do or not
do, anyway."

One of the other players looked at me admiringly and said (in
character): "You're ex-SWAT?  No way.  You're too smart for SWAT."
