This isn't how it works in Serenity. You get Plot Points for playing
your character's Complications. If your character has the
Complication "Speed Junkie," if will be hard for him to go less than
maximum speed in a situation like this. The player can always elect
TO slow down and proceed with greater care, but if he does, he doesn't
get the PP for playing his applicable Complication.
ANYONE can spend Plot Points on rolls to better control their grav
bike in a chase. The fact that the guy with "Speed Junkie" has just
gotten one from yeilding to his Complication is irrelevant. The guy
he's chasing could have one from having just yeilded to his Sadist
Complication, by swerving off-line to deliberately hit a cat. Both
PPs spend the same.
