An especially cool part - for my money, anyway - is that if the player
spends the PP before rolling, he gets an entire extra dice to roll: a
d2 for one PP, a d4 for two PP, a d6 for three PP, etc. But if he
waits until the roll has been "failed" before deciding to spend PPs,
influencing the result gets a lot more expensive: one PP buys only +1
to a rolled result, two PP a +2 and so on.
This can get to be a nice little quandry, don't you think?
