Details, details ;-)

The explanation works well enough for gaming, since it explains why 
jumps need to end near a star without simply saying "because I said so". 
Good enough for me :-)

If pressed, I would say that the gravity wells pointing in towards the 
center of jump space are not simply the bending of normal space, but are 
the effects of a far stronger, currently unknown law of physics.
