Apart from the many reviews freely available on the internets I would
say that this is a well-playtested complete game system with almost
100% direct compatibility with the old support material. no version of
Traveller has ever been extensively playtested and professionally
edited until now, in my opinion.

The most glaring issues were fixed, and the caliber of material has
been very good. I can't think of a reason not to change.
