Sounds a little difficult to pull off, though I think if I run a 
Traveller campaign, it will have definite Pulp elements.  Actually... 
Brain cells are starting to function...  Hmmm...  Nothing says you 
have to set a Traveller game in the "Cannon" setting, and I'd already 
threatened to roll my own.  Just might be time to flesh out a 
Pulpish/50's Sci-Fi setting I've had in mind.  Who knows what I'll 
do, I need more time to talk to the players, and realistically I 
don't see us being ready to start a new campaign for a couple months, 
our next session is tentatively in a month.

Interestingly enough the person that wants to do Sci-Fi, and doesn't 
want to do Pulp was interested in the "Spirit of the Century" book. 
Though I suspect it was more the book than the setting.
