[TML] Alternate K'kree origin?

Listening to some Dr. Demento disks, I suddenly got hit with the 
beginnings of an alternate origin for the K'kree.

What if they were an attempt to genetically enginneeer better cattle 
by a minor human race that went horribly wrong?

What inspired this crazy thought? 

I was listening to Dana Lyoons' infamous song "Cows with Guns". :-)
