You know, when I was about 12 (coincidentally, just when I started
gaming...) a neighbor had the whole set of Lensman books.  Up to that time
anyway, a few were written more in the early 80's.  Anyway, she let me
borrow them, one at a time, and I was working my way through when she moved
away.  Never have started collecting them for myself.
