This was mentioned in "In Fury Born"... I think theirs was more like PGMP,
but their combat armor coped with radiation.  Other things/people in the
vicinity were on their own.  :)  Of course, this could make a "near miss" a
nasty hazard too.

A very interesting articles.  Of course, the thing that immediately caught
my attention was on the 1st graph...  where the *hell* are Ozzies getting
all that gamma from?!?
